Since their early days as Fallen, Dudley's Soley Mourning have been regulars on the local hard rock scene packing venues with their raw yet melodic mix of heavy guitars and hook laden melodies.

At the end of 2005, Soley Mourning finally reached their unique line up having invited Mat Partridge and Dattani from local band Lazlow who had split up weeks before. The awesome guitar work of Tony Chambers and Andy Guest combined with the powerful, driving drums of Chris Smith and Mat Partridge's bluesy vocal influence gave way for Dattani's rock solid bottom end. Since then, Soley Mourning have spent their time crafting a catalogue of stunning rock tracks and have created a savage, hi energy live show

At their early live shows, the band regularly handed out free copies of their E.P.'s that were recorded and produced wholly within the band along with self produced videos and DVD's. The band, for the time, existed without a record label

Having created a solid World wide fan base through hard work and expense of their own, Soley Mourning not only have have a legion of loyal fans but many of them have become actively involved creating forums and fan sites. To this day the band still produce their own merchandise and maintain their self made website and mail order shop.

In 2006 the band signed to Casket Records to release their debut album "Mambo County" bringing together a great mix of both melodic and powerful driving rock music to create a sound that is truly their own and 2007 has already seen the worldwide release of their video for the album track “Easylife” and their first european tour kicking off on July 13th In Belgium.
